About Me
Brief Bio
I am an assistant professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of British Columbia (UBC). UBC is located in the beautiful city of Vancouver.
I received my M.S and PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), where I worked with Ravi Iyer and Zbigniew Kalbarczyk in the DEPEND research group.
I've also been a post-doctoral researcher at Microsoft Research (Redmond) working with Ben Zorn in the SDI group (from January to December 2009).
Research Interests: My main areas of interest are as follows:
- Fault-tolerant and Secure Systems,
- Programming languages and Compilers,
- Computer architecture, and
- Web applications.
